Music graduate news 2006


Commercial Music graduate Chris Blanden is now working as an in-house engineer for Peter Gabriel's Real World Studios. Chris specialised in audio production during year 3 of the BA (Hons) Commercial Music course. He joins ex-students Rachel Roberts, Chris Lavington and Jon Berry, who are working in the publisher and label arms of the Real World organisation.


Commercial Music graduate Bernie Valentine is working for innovative software company iCueMix, developing applications to enhance iTunes listener experiences.


Big Cats KillCommercial Music graduate Ian Evans is now running his own promotions company IME Music. The company was set up as part of Ian's third year business project in his home town of Ilkeston, and is already the town's most successful live music promoter. Ian is also representing the rock project Big Cats Kill, comprising ex-CM students Tim Swinburne and Amy West.
